Creating early bird discounts is a great way to motivate parents to register early. This will allow the administrator to spend more time preparing for the season and less time tracking down late registrations. Another option is to setup late fees for your divisions.  This keeps the club from having to offer any discounts, while still incentivizing your parents to register before the last minute.

Setting up your discounts and fees:

To make sure your late fees and early bird discounts are going to be applied to orders, be sure to configure your Site Settings. In Site Settings, be sure that a checkmark is placed next to the Early Bird Discount and Late Fee boxes:

Once this has been configured properly, you can edit the division for which you wish to set a late fee or early bird discount. In edit division mode, set a early bird date and discount amount. The same can be done for the late fee.

Please be aware that the fee or discount starts at 12:01 AM Eastern Time on the date you specify.
